Freelance and employment vacancies
Specialised LGBTQIA+ psychosocial counsellor (8-10 hours/week | €50/hour)
We are seeking a new colleague from 1 June 2024 to fill the position of specialised LGBTQIA+ psychosocial counsellor as part of our POCQunity project. As a specialised counsellor within Colored Qollective, you will work on conducting one-to-one conversations and groep sessions with individuals from the racialised LGBTQIA+ community who need psychosocial support. Within this role, you will work closely with your fellow counsellor, who will also guide you through the process.
Your job is to provide psychosocial support to these individuals. This means that you offer a listening ear and guide and support individuals in increasing their self-reliance. This may also mean referring them to other agencies, the mental health service (GGZ) or other (help) organisations. A small part of the job will consist of networking; looking up parties that have an affinity with our community and exploring collaborations with these parties.
Note: POCQunity primary working language is in Dutch.

Allround Content Creative (6 hours/week | €50/hour)
Do you want to join a community by and for LGBTQIA+ racialised people and help work towards amplifying the voices within our community and making our efforts heard and seen? Do you have ideas on how to make our communities and issues visible and to bring our socials to life?
Colored Qollective is looking for a freelancer to join the Colored Qollective Core Team as our allround content creative. Your work will consist primarily of two parts: (1) drafting the visual identity of Colored Qollective in the onset of your role; (2) content creation and social media management in the long-run. With your creativity and efforts, you can make a difference, help our community grow, make our concerns loud and clear, and give new life to the socials of a young and passionate foundation!
